MDM Medical's Orthopaedic large bone blades are made from high quality grades of stainless steel that maintain high hardness and are corrosion resistant.

All stainless steel used for the manufacture of MDM Medical's blades is vacuum melted to separate the impurities that exist in the melting process from the useable alloy. This leads to the creation of instruments that are less prone to having inherent material flaws and blemishes.

MDM Medical source stainless steel from a Swedish company with very high quality steel. The majority of MDM Medical's saw blades are made from a martensitic grade of stainless steel that is hardened by heat treating.
