A key component of MDM Medical's corporate plan for 2007 will be the implementation of, and certification to ISO:14001 Environment to integrate with our existing QMS. In the meantime the Company is taking active but practical steps to enhance environmental awareness within the organisation:

- The introduction of 'recycled' product packaging.
- Sponsoring Friends of the Earth.
- Location of the Company HQ is in a pleasant, rural environment.
- HQ is constructed from energy efficient materials.
- Implementation of waste recycling programme.
- Introduction of collection boxes for recycling printer cartridges.
- The majority of employees live within 10 minutes of the office
- Employees are encouraged to use the train for travel over 100km.
- All travel into central London is strictly by train.
- All paper used for printing and photocopying is FSC approved.
- Introduction of low-wattage light bulbs.
- Company operates a 'switch it off' policy where employees switch off lights, computer terminals and screens at power sources, thus minimising stand-by modes for electrical devices and saving electricity.
